Valerie Stevens Urban Fantasy
Malevolent forces have targeted Calgary Canada and it’s quite literally Valerie Stevens’ job to determine who’s behind the evil and then take them down.
She’ll have help, in the form of her best friend (now more or less a zombie, unfortunately), a powerful dwarf troll, and the ghost of a dead Prime Minister (but he goes by ‘Bill’ these days). But that’s not all – Valerie has some tricks up her sleeve and, she hopes, luck on her side. Oh, and her boyfriend, Dave. He drives a dump truck.

DOUBLE CROSS.
Neil Collins has a dangerous past that just caught up to him. An ex-specialist, Collins did a lot of bad things for a lot of years for a lot of money. Disavowing that life, he hides in plain sight in a small mining town in the middle of the Canadian Shield. It is spring 1976. America is in its bicentennial year. Custom vans with airbrushed murals prowl the streets to the sounds of cool music on 8-track tape.

Someone is frantically banging at Collins’ front door first thing in the morning and that simply doesn’t happen when your former life consists of having done very bad things for people who want plausible deniability, like governments running tricks on each other. Only the person standing in front of Neil is the brother he hasn’t seen in years, and he’s got his family in tow. Sporting a fresh shiner, he’s pale and panicking because killers are coming, and they need to leave now.

Money laundering. Illegal narcotics. Outlaw bikers and Russian assassins. Throw in a side order of double cross and it’s just an average day for a former trigger man running from his past

In a smoldering world infested with walking cadavers, the survivors of Simmons infantry reserve unit are going hatches down in a pair of armoured personnel carriers and everyone knows that it’s only a matter of time until their fuel runs dry.
There’s more than a thousand miles of biting, unforgiving cold, armed survivalists and legions of the living dead standing in their way.
They’re outgunned, outnumbered and out of time.
This tense thriller offers a terrifying and brutal vision of survival in a post-apocalyptic world where the bonds of friendship and family are the only things left that are worth fighting for.
Got Werewolf?
Imagine what might happen if a supernatural killing machine walked the earth. What if raw, bestial howling filled the air beneath the light of a full moon? Now imagine being stalked by a creature that resembles a wolf but is as large as a full-grown brown bear. A creature with a face and fangs out of your worst nightmare. A beast that only knows hunting and killing in the most savage manner possible. City, town, or village, rural or in the north, a monster is hungry, and you might be on the menu.
It's a Canada where such terrifying creatures exist. Where there is no place to hide once the werewolf catches your scent. Run for your life.
